Private Residence, Mission Bay

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Insite Façades Ltd was contracted to design, supply and install a custom automated sun blade system for a private residence.

The scope of work involved engineering extra-large (700mm deep) parallelogram-shaped, electrically operated screen, requiring the development of new dies for the extruded aluminium fins.

These bespoke sun blades provide several key functions, including solar shading to reduce heat gain, enhanced privacy and protection from the external elements. The system integrates seamlessly into the building's architecture, offering both performance and durability.
