Middlemore Hospital Scott Building

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Completed ahead of programme and to budget.

Insite Façades Ltd was involved in early contractor assistance on this project spanning 5 years prior to the build. This project was a world-first in terms of re-cladding a live operational hospital without decanting patients and therefore required careful planning and methodology prior to execution.

Insite worked closely with Consultants and Architect through early engagement to assist with the consent process of product selection, seismic movement and firestop detailing.

We used battery-powered tools to reduce noise and worked closely with the client to ensure that the works had minimum effect on the patients who were still situated on the other side of hoarding whilst windows were removed and replaced.

Insite Facades Ltd supplied a 10-year E2 weathering warranty for the cladding and windows which were supplied and installed under our scope of works.
