Systems Installed:

MAGE back ventilated cladding support system and Fundermax Exterior HPL – High Pressure Laminate exterior cladding panels. Note: 15 individual colours were used on this project.

Installation Methodology:

MAGE aluminium 25mm profiles were installed to form both the structural support system and the back ventilated / drained cavity. Profiles were installed in strict accordance with MAGE engineered design.

Fundermax HPL cladding panels were site measured, cut and prepared offsite in the Insite Facades factory, then installed on site using colour matched rivets to attach cladding panels to pre-installed aluminium profiles.

Installation Methodology:

MAGE aluminium brackets, T and L profiles were installed to form both the structural support system and the back ventilated / drained cavity. MAGE MG-Fix brackets, T and L profiles were set out and installed on the Rigid Air Barrier provided by the builder. The combined use of MAGE MG-Fix brackets and profiles provided and adjustable structural support system designed to cater for construction tolerances. Brackets and profiles were installed in strict accordance with MAGE engineered design.

Note: This project employed the use of XPS 50mm closed cell foam insulation installed on the outside of the Rigid Air Barrier, within the 70mm cavity.

Fundermax HPL cladding panels were site measured, cut and prepared offsite in the Insite Facades factory, then installed on site using colour matched rivets to attach cladding panels to pre-installed aluminium profiles.

Systems Installed:

MAGE Structural Support System and Fundermax Alucompact Exterior HPL – High Pressure Laminate exterior cladding panels.

Note: Areas clad with Fundermax: South Concourse Platform soffits and bulkheads.

Installation Methodology:

MAGE aluminium MG-Fix brackets, L and T profiles were installed to form the structural support system for the soffits and bulkheads. Profiles were installed in strict accordance with MAGE engineered design.

Fundermax HPL cladding panels were delivered to site in precut sizes. This was made possible through working closely with the Architect in the design and pre-planning stages of the project. Some panel cutting was carried out in Insite Facades factory and on site to accommodate structural elements.

Panels were installed on site using colour matched rivets to attach cladding panels to pre-installed aluminium profiles.

Basalt 30mm stone panels.

Installation Methodology:

A combination of MAGE aluminium 25mm profiles, MG-Fix brackets, L and T profiles were installed to form both the structural support system and the back ventilated / drained cavity. Profiles were installed in strict accordance with MAGE engineered design.

Fundermax HPL cladding panels were site measured, cut and prepared off site in the Insite Facades factory, then installed on site using colour matched rivets to attach cladding panels to pre-installed aluminium profiles.

Keil Anchor System for Basalt stone panels:
Blue stone cladding hung on Eurofox Structural Cavity system using the Keil Anchor System. Undercut anchors were drilled and placed with purpose made brackets into the rear face of stone panels, which were then hung on the Eurofox horizontal rail system.

Systems Used:

Eurofox back-ventilated cladding support system and Fundermax Exterior –High Pressure Laminate (HPL) exterior cladding panels.

Installation Methodology:

Eurofox aluminium brackets and profiles were installed for form both the structural support system and back-ventilated cavity for Fundermax and Exterior cladding.

Fundermax Exterior panels were face fixed to Eurofox profiles using colour matched rivets.

Total area installed – 4000m2

Systems Used:

Fundermax (HPL -  High Pressure Laminate) exterior cladding supported on aluminium fins, constructed using box section substructure.

On this project Fundermax has been used to create architectural feature fins which contrast the white painted litecrete projecting concrete.
